Daisy is important to August because he loves her. How is the relationship between Daisy and August even more special than it might be for a "normal" kid and his dog?
Daisy was a special dog to August. She did not care about his face. She just saw him for who he really was. When she died, we could see why August was so updet.
I am sad that Daisy died. Daisy was a good dog. I wish Daisy was not dead right now. It was sad that Daisy had died. It was sad to hear that Daisy died. Daisy was feeling bad for Auggie. They took her to the vet but she was steal feeling bad onto Daisy dies, it was a sad thing that Daisy had died. I feel bad for Daisy.
I didn't like it when the dog Daisy was very sick. I bet Auggie was crying like crazy. I bet Auggie was really upset knowing the dog was really dead. She thought that she will die and probably so.
Daisy sounds like a great dog. If she was my dog and she died I would cry forever. I was sad when Daisy died. She was a very playful dog. She didn't care how August's face looked. She still loved- ugly or not. She also loves everyone else.
All kids love their pets; however, in August's case Daisy would be super important to him because she would be one of the only means to get physical cuddling and attention. Although his parents obviously loved him and hugged him and cuddled with him, most outsiders were too afraid of the way he looked to be physically close to him. Daisy didn't care how he looked and she constantly kissed his face and gave him affection. When she died his whole life changed in the loss of this affection. Thankfully his life also progressed in a direction which enabled his peers to begin to be closer to him as well! (Karen Daniel)
Daisy didn't care what Auggie looked like or what anybody else thought about him. She loved him for who he was and that was all that mattered. Daisy was a member of the family and it is really sad when a family member dies. Sandra Strom
Because August doesn't have as many friends as normal people, Daisy was his friend :,( It's sad she died.

ReplyDeleteI was so upset when Daisy had died on Wednesday because she sounded like she was so cute and I could tell about the age that she was going to die.

ReplyDeleteDaisy is my favorite character. She is the dog that got sick. She should not have died. If she was my dog I would be depressed and upset.
